Kia ora,
Like the previous days, we hope today learning was also an enjoyable session for all of you. In the beginning of the session, it was interesting to see the “butterfly lifecycle” drawn by children in their own imaginative way. We continued with the songs sung by our teachers.
What do you all say about yummy fruit kebabs??
My fruit kebab was delicious, and I could see you all were also enjoying making your own kebabs with the help of your parents. Our toddler too got involved in exploring/eating the juicy mango pieces.
The way children were cutting the fruits with their knife into small pieces and then stacking up (putting) them into the skewer and toothpick one by one was well coordinated. After the Kebab was ready, they enjoyed eating their kebab. Through this learning experience tamariki identified the different fruits and their colours.
“Mrs Wishy Washy’s Farm” was an interesting story read by Raj and seems it caught each child’s attention.
We really appreciate the way parents are encouraging their child/children to be a part of these Online Learning Experiences. Our apologies if any child is missed out in conversation during the session. Please raise your hand or press the space bar and talk to the teachers. You may also type a message in the chat box.
Things to prepare for Monday
We need a couple of empty egg shells. Please do not break it into half. You may make a small hole on top and remove yolk.
We are intending to decorate our egg shells using paint, glitters or food colours.
Please prepare:
Empty egg shells, paint, some food colour and paint brush or a natural stick with cotton wool.
Should you have any ideas or suggestions towards our online learning experience, please do not hesitate to give us a shout. Any feedback is highly appreciated, and we will take your comments, suggestions and try to get the most for our children (tamariki) and whanau.
Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and the Website for updates and information.
Please don’t forget to be with us at 3pm on Monday.
