FOREST WALK AND OUR HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION

Forest walks are an excellent way to stimulate a child’s appreciation for the natural world and our tamariki certainly were excited and happy as they explored the different textures, sights and sounds around them during our forest walk this week.

Our tamariki had the opportunity to freely explore, wander and interact with their friends. It was great fun climbing the big trees and rolling down the big slopes. There were lots of jumping, hoping, climbing, running, sliding and rolling during our walk!

Every year our centre celebrates Halloween and the children really got into the spirit of Halloween this week dressing up in their favorite costume. There was lots of excitement as children made masks and drew spiderwebs and ghosts. Tamariki especially looked forward to getting a (chocolate) treat! Happy Halloween!
