Kia ora everyone

The Covid-19 lockdown has affected all of us in some ways. A big thank you to the parents and children for participating in Mt Royal’s Online Learning Experience and encouraging the children to be a part of this e-learning.

I hope children enjoyed their learning about germs with a simple experiment done with water, black pepper and hand wash liquid. It is essential to keep personal hygiene in mind always.

Please feel free to send us photos of your child/children so that we can extend their learning. You all are welcome to suggest any improvement in our online sessions; we are also learning a few things along with you.

For tomorrows session, the tamariki will share pictures of the “germs” drawn by them through their own imagination. This will be followed by Songs and a short video by the Kaiako.

Please don’t forget about fork painting as well.

Be ready with:

• paint
• paper  
• fork

If you do not have these items, do not stress. Recyclable resources are great to use for eg. twigs, bark, leaves or anything else.

We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow at 3pm sharp.
